Tiplady Farm Shepherds Huts comprise a range of cosy hand-built huts offering a fun-filled glamping experience on a family-owned farm in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Nestled along the Nidd valley, 14 miles from Harrogate, this countryside accommodation is perfect for enjoying the Great Outdoors! There are many scenic walks, cycleways and bridleways around the area and there is livery available for visiting horses.
Each hut is eco-friendly, built from sustainable timber for the frame and recycled brake discs for the wheels. They are insulated by sheep’s wool. Inside, there is a double bed, wood burning stove, lighting and electricity. The shared toilets and showering facilities are in an underfloor heated block nearby, with a sheltered outdoor cooking area featuring barbeque and brick rocket stove by the pond and waterwheel.
The small town of Pateley Bridge is a mile away offering independent shops, pubs, restaurants, theatre and a leisure centre. The town is also famous for The Oldest Sweet Shop in England which was established in 1827 and is validated as the longest continuous trading sweet shop in the world. The Nidderdale Way and Six Dales Trail both pass through the town.
