Boars Head

Boars Head is a former coaching inn nestled on the grounds of the 14th century Ripley Castle. Located in a picturesque village just 3 miles outside of Harrogate, the inn has individually-designed attractive guest rooms, a cosy bar and serves a range of home cooked food. Families and dogs are welcome. The inn has ample car parking.

There are single, double and twin rooms, as well as courtyard and superior rooms. All are available to view online and feature en suite facilities, TV, radio and hospitality tray. A delicious breakfast is included and a celebration pack with champagne, flowers and chocolates can be arranged prior to arrival for special occasions.

There are 2 dining rooms in which to sample our superb food. The Bar Bistro is a great place to relax and the dining room offers a more formal place to enjoy an intimate meal with family or friends. There is also The Snug for enjoying a drink from the well-stocked bar. Overnight guests also have free entry to the castle or can have a guided tour at a preferential rate.
