The Hideaway at Baxby Manor

The Hideaway at Baxby Manor is a small and friendly camping site with glamping facilities on the edge of the North York Moors. Situated 17 miles from York on a 110-acre farm, this is the perfect place to enjoy a tranquil holiday amongst nature. Our glamping huts are eco-friendly.

The Ecopods are wooden huts for 2 or 4 guests, with double bed and an extra bunk bed in the family pod. There is no electricity or camping kitchen, just a fire pit outside. The Hobbiton at The Hideaway is a luxurious glamping hut with double bed, 2 single beds, log burner, portable gas stove, kettle and outdoor dining area with campfire. Rufus Roost is a luxurious treehouse with electricity, shower room, outside veranda, hot tub and games den.

Dogs are allowed in some of the glamping huts, so you don’t have to leave your canine companion behind! There are communal toilets, shower and washing up facilities on-site, with water and heating from a biomass boiler. Other facilities include a small shop, tennis court and children’s play area.
