Old Boatman's Shelter

The Old Boatman’s Shelter consists of 2 holiday apartments located on the harbour in Whitby, with uninterrupted views across the estuary and out to sea. The apartments are only a stone’s throw from the beach and seaside amusements. Recently completed, each contemporary holiday home sleeps up to 4 guests.

Both properties have a light and airy open plan living area featuring comfortable seating, a Smart TV, dining table and well-equipped kitchen, as well as a king size master bedroom and a twin bedroom. Apartment 1 has a freestanding bath in the master bedroom and a shower room; Apartment 2 is on ground floor level and has a family bathroom.

Paid parking is available on-street outside or in the national car parks and the train station is 10 minutes’ walk. Restaurants, shops and coffee shops are nearby, and guests can also visit the Captain Cook Museum, famous 199 Steps and abbey ruins which are all visible across the river from the apartments.
