The Angel at Hetton

The Angel at Hetton is an award-winning country inn with guest rooms in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales village of Hetton, just north of Skipton. With its Michelin Starred and AA 4-Rosette Awarded restaurant, The Angel is famed for its food as well as its warm, welcoming atmosphere. At the helm is chef patron Michael Wignall and his wife Johanna.

There are 15 gorgeous suites and studios, all individually-styled with beautiful furnishings and fittings. Each is equipped with an en suite bathroom and sumptuous king-sized bed. Guests can choose from a room with a private lounge or terrace. There are also family suites, accessible rooms with widened doors and a wet room, as well as some dog-friendly rooms.

The restaurant offers unique dishes full of flavour, underpinned by a contemporary, less formal approach to fine cuisine. Michael’s food is described as ‘modern, technical and meaningful’, with each element bringing flavour or texture. There are various packages at The Angel, including our Gourmet Getaway which includes a 6-course evening dinner, overnight stay and breakfast.
