Meads Farm Garden Lodge

Meads Farm Garden Lodge, near Chedzoy village, is in a superb location for a holiday break in Somerset, within easy reach of the M5, Bridgwater, Quantocks, Mendips, Blackdown Hills and the River Parrett estuary which is home to WWT Steart Marshes. This contemporary lodge accommodation sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms and provides step-free entry and level access throughout. Owners Paul and Helen provide a very warm welcome.

The lodge features underfloor heating, air conditioning and Wifi throughout. Guests will find a fantastic open plan living area with attractive décor, a large corner sofa / sofa bed, Smart TV, electric fire and rural countryside views from the windows. The kitchen is fully kitted out for self-catering holidays, including mod cons such as a fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining area has a large table seating up to 8 people.

Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, doors opening out to the outside and with views over a field, plus an en suite shower room. Bedroom 2 is a super king size / twin bedded room, also with views over a field. Bedroom 3 offers low-level bunk beds suitable for children or smaller teenagers. All bedrooms contain ample storage. A travel cot is available for Bedrooms 1 and 3. There is also a family bathroom. Outside, is a terrace with outdoors furniture.

Within 5 minutes’ drive from the lodge is a fresh milk stand in Chedzoy and a farm shop in Bawdrip. Bridgwater is an historic market town with plenty of amenities and attractions including museums and an arts centre. The surrounding area has lots of walking routes, plus attractions such as the Battle of Sedgemoor battleground, Avalon Marshes Wetland Centre, Clarks Village Shopping Outlet in Street, Burnham-on-Sea beach and Cheddar Gorge.
