The Grove Cromer

The Grove is a welcoming family-run hotel in a historic building with beautiful gardens, home to a heated indoor swimming pool, along with dog friendly self-catering cottages and yurts. The AA-2 Rosette accredited restaurant is very popular for non-residents and hotel guests alike.

The hotel has 16 rooms in all, ranging from a cosy double and a single room to standard doubles and twins and family rooms and our superb new Suite. Most of the guest rooms are in the main house, but we also have five Orchard Rooms that are more contemporary and tucked away in a timber-framed building in the garden; a couple of which are perfect for families. All rooms have en suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs and DVD players and there is free Wifi throughout.

New for 2020 Number 11 is our only suite, which takes up most of the top floor of the west wing and includes a large bedroom with superking bed, a dressing room and bathroom. It comes with a few added extras like smart TV and coffee machine and has a host of original features showing the style and history of The Grove.

We also offer The Massage Hut where guests can experience a range of treatments designed to promote relaxation. The Grove occupies 4 acres of lovely secluded grounds set well away from the main road; and the cliffs and beach are just a short walk away through the woods on the far side of the garden. It is an enjoyable stroll into the busy resort of Cromer in one direction, and a slightly longer one to the nearby pretty village of Overstrand.
