Milkwood Cottage

Milkwood Cottage is a delightful self-catering holiday cottage 7 miles north of St Austell, designed specially to cater for adults with disabilities / mobility needs. A former thatched farmhouse on the family-owned Chillbrook Farm, it offers a peaceful retreat for 2 guests.

The open plan living room includes 2 sofas, a TV, DVD player and patio doors out to the garden. There is also a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and dining table; a twin bedroom that has direct access to the patio area outside and a spacious wet room. All on ground floor level, there is step free access throughout, widened doors for wheelchairs, grab rails and a shower seat.

As well as the beautiful scenic views there is also a bakery on the farm selling delicious home make cakes. There are opportunities for fishing, playing golf and horse riding nearby with the Eden Project just 8 miles away. Owner John lives on the farm and will be available for help and advice throughout your stay.

All hot water and heating costs, bed linen and towels are included in the rates; just bring your own beach towels. Milkwood Cottage is non-smoking, no pets are allowed and the cottage does not offer accommodation for children (for infants up to 1 year old, please enquire before booking).
