Perfectly nestled in the pretty village of Braunton, and situated just a short stroll from the many restaurants, pubs and bistros, Stockwell Lodge offers a warm welcome and excellent accommodation. With so much to see and do in the area you will be spoilt for choice, there are so many superb beaches closeby, Saunton Sands, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe, ideal for activities like surfing and paddleboarding. We are a haven for walkers with some great walks with spectacular views in the area, Baggy Point, Crow Point and Mortehoe being just a few, while Braunton Burrows boasts the largest sand dunes in the UK. The nearby Tarka Trail is great for cyclists. Otters Cycle Hire is just around the corner, or if you bring your own bikes they can be safely stored here at Stockwell Lodge along with surfboards. Saunton Golf Club is a 3 mile drive away, and has two Links courses offering fantastic golf experiences. With lots of historic towns and villages to explore there really is something for everyone here!
