Meadows and Swallows

Lower Dutson Farm near Launceston is a traditional Cornish family-run farm with cattle and sheep, offering superb self-catering accommodation. Guests are free to explore the 180 acres of fields and also fish for salmon and trout along our stretch of the River Tamar, or try your skills on our coarse fishing lake.

Sleeping 8, Meadows has a sitting room with a wood burner and clome oven. There is a kitchen/dining area and a separate utility room with washer and tumble dryer. The cottage offers a snooker room, also featuring a clome oven, along with board games and toys. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a double, a family and a twin, plus a bathroom. Meadows has an outside area and place to store surfboards or fishing tackle. Dogs are welcome.

Swallows sleeps 6 and is part of the original farmhouse which dates back to the 1600s. Part of the walls are made from cob which are nearly a metre thick. The sitting room has an original granite fireplace along with a leather suite and a TV / DVD player. The kitchen / dining area is fully-equipped and upstairs are 2 doubles, a twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Outside is a patio and barbecue. There is also a separate games room and ample parking. Unlimited Wifi is free in each cottage.
