The Wild Boar

The Wild Boar Inn is on the A54 between Congleton and Buxton offering accommodation and a campsite with a view! This friendly and lively inn will keep you entertained. There's a well-stocked bar, meals at weekends and live music every Saturday, with 60s, 70s and 80s-inspired acts.

There is ample car parking available. For campers, pass through the pub car park into a second car park and the camping field is accessed through the farm gate. The site doesn't boast acres of camping space but it has got wonderful views!

The paths all around the Peak District will delight avid walkers, and anglers can rent tackle and drop a line about a mile away in Wincle. For families looking for something a little different, take your pick from Danebridge Fisheries Trout Farm, the beautiful spa town of Buxton, or Alton Towers which is less than 30 minutes' drive away.
