Green Farmhouse

Green Farmhouse is a 16th century former farmhouse in the village of Lower Halstow. This period property has beams throughout and it is thought that the framework of the building was produced from broken down ship timbers from Chatham Dockyard. It is said that King Charles II planted the Mulberry tree in the garden.

Owners Chris and Carol Haines have lovingly restored Green Farmhouse to now offer superb bed and breakfast accommodation. We have 2 Standard Double en suite rooms and a Superior King Size en suite room. A delicious breakfast using local produce wherever possible is served in the morning.

Just a short stroll away is The Three Tuns Pub which serves food. The area is a haven for all outdoors enthusiasts and there is a golf course 2 miles away. Close to the A2 road, there are excellent transport links around the area. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 12 or pets.
