Bell Hotel

The Bell Hotel is a beautiful Tudor-era building offering a riverside location in the historic Kent town of Sandwich. Proudly accredited with a Visit England 3-Star rating and Breakfast Award, the hotel has superb guest rooms, a bar, terrace and a fine restaurant. We can also host your wedding, party or other special event.

All 37 rooms are individual, well-appointed and decorated to a high standard. There are double, twin and family rooms. We have bedrooms with river views, 4-poster beds and deluxe rooms with luxurious extras such as a roll-top bath. All are equipped with en suite facilities, free Wifi, a TV and hospitality tray.

Guests can enjoy fine food in either the bar, brasserie or Old Dining Room. All dishes are freshly prepared by our talented chefs and there are options for vegetarians, vegans and coeliacs. A complimentary breakfast is available. Take the river bus from just opposite the hotel along the River Stour or walk to the museums across the bridge.
