The Horseshoe and Castle

The Horseshoe and Castle is a traditional country inn with guest rooms in the small village of Cooling near Rochester. Located near the RSPB nature reserve at Cliffe Pool and close to the Saxon Shore Way, we are ideally placed for people who enjoy the outdoors!

There are 5 bedrooms available; king size rooms, a twin room, a family room with extra futon bed and a ground floor room for guests with limited mobility. All rooms are equipped with en suite shower or private bathroom facilities, complimentary toiletries, a Freeview TV, Wifi, hairdryer and hospitality tray. Wine or champagne can also be provided for an extra special stay.

A delicious Full English or Continental breakfast is included in the room tariffs and served in the restaurant in the morning. Guests can also enjoy a lunch or evening meal and the bar provides a friendly place to relax and enjoy a drink. Dogs are also welcome.
